About Ellen


Ellen Cathrine Knutsen is my name. I was named after my uncle’s ex, simply because my mother liked her and thought she had a pretty name. Perhaps it sounds weird to be named after someone’s ex, but they were still together at the time I was born. I saw the light for the first time a cold January night, in 1991. I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere in a commune named Karmøy. My dad used to run a farm, so I’m used to have animals around me. We only have a dog at the moment though. A Golden Retriever to be more specific. We’re not planning on getting more animals either, so she’s probably the last creature on four feet to be seen here.

I have no exact plans for my future yet, but I’m quite sure I want to work within media. That’s why I’m studying Media and Communication now. My love for graphical design grows bigger everyday, so that might have some affect on my future career. Something within animation sounds interesting to me aswell. I’d like to study abroad in a few years, and right now America sounds most tempting. I’m still very unsure about this, so only time will tell.

In general I’m a happy and cheerful girl. What is typically me is that I might laugh more and lauder than most people. This can probably be both positive and negative, but I like to see it as something positive. I’m also the person who always hurt herself in the weirdest situations. I don’t own what they call balance. Amazingly enough, I have never broken a single bone in my body! I’m also a very social person. I’m pretty much up to anything, and I’m not trying to be anyone but me. Most of my time is spent with friends. Without them I wouldn’t be anything.
