Scripts
Scripts is a very usefull thing. Its like.. You click one button and you can make your whole picture different. Instead of making layer over layer with colours and effects you can just click one button and it will be done automaticly.

  • Adding scripts

To use the scripts you of course have to add them to your scripts list. Its very easy to add them, you just have to paste them in a folder. Im not really sure if its the same with "all" versions of Paint Shop Pro, but this is the way you do it with Paint Shop Pro 8.

    1. First you have to download one or more scripts.(You can find some on the downloads section on my content page.). It mostly comes in zipped folders, and the file you have to look for looks like this

2.Open your "MY DOCUMENTS". Then go MY PSP FILES > SCRIPTS-RESTRICTED. In that folder paste the script file.

Your scripts should now be added. How to use the script you can read below.

  • USING SCRIPTS

1.Using scripts isn't really hard that either. First just find the toolbar called script looking like this

If you can't find it click view > toolbars > script, it should now appear.

2.Now open the image you are gonna use the script on. Then choose the script you are gonna use and click "run selected script" ()
If windows pop-up of making new layers etc, just click ok on all of them.

  • MAKING SCRIPTS

1.This is also a very easy thing to do in Paint Shop Pro. First find the scripts bar, then click the round cicle which says "start script recording" when you hover it.

Then start adding new layers and all the effects you want. And when you're done click ()
That you find to the right on the bar.

A new window will then pop-up where you just tape a name you want to save the scipt as, then just click save and your script will be saved.
