Downloading Fonts

First of all I would recommend the site Dafont.Com go to the site and then find the font you want to download to your computer. Here I have chosen a random one just to show you how. I have chosen the font "Cheap Fire". You will see on the screenshot below where you find the download button.

Select you're downloading target to a folder or anything you want as long you know where.

Installing fonts

Click the folder you downloaded and in there you will find a file looking like this:

And it is this file you need to have in your main fonts folder on your compter.
To get to the folder click My computer >> Local Disk(C:) >> Windows >> Fonts (It may be different on your computer).

Now copy the font you downloaded and click COPY and paste it in the fonts folder. Or you can also just drag it over.
